STCW Advanced

The STCW Advanced Fire Fighting Course forms part of the training required for deck and engineering officers who wish to qualify for a certificate of competency and crew who are designated to control firefighting operations.

The purpose of the Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats (PSCRB) course, sometimes referred to as lifeboat training (or by some as the CPSC (Certificate of Proficiency in Survival Craft course) is to prepare crew should they be faced with an emergency onboard resulting in them either having to abandon ship or rescue a crew member in a man over board situation.

FRB training builds upon the skills learned during the Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boat course taken as a prerequisite to this course. It is essential training required by those whose duty on board a vessel is to crew the Fast Rescue Boat.

The Ship Security Officer course is an MCA approved three day course which includes theory, case studies and practical scenarios to enable you to carry out the duties of the Ship Security Officer on board a vessel that is required to be International Ship and Port Facility Security Code (ISPS) compliant.
